Healing the Body Through Movement
Prior to medical school, Dr. Reid was a trained dancer. She knows the importance of healing through a holistic approach by focusing on all elements of the individual body, mind, and spirit as each element affects the other.
Dr. Reid bridged her love for dance through the practice of Yoga and Pilates. As a certified yoga instructor (registered with the Yoga Alliance), she has made Yoga and movement a focal point in her practice.
Dr. Reid is a wife and mother of a beautiful little girl who also dreams of becoming a doctor one day. In her spare time, Dr. Reid makes contributions to wellness publications and blogs. Some of the periodicals she has contributed to include First for Women magazine, Isitallergyblog.com, and the Huffington Post. Dr. Reid is also a recurrent guest on the Front Page with Dominique DiPrima, a morning show on KJLH radio/102.3 FM and recently featured on "The Doctors" show.
